If you watched the spring budget, opened my previous newsletters or read the papers you should know that the Employers NI threshold is changing on the 6th July.
What does this mean for you? Well if you’re a company director paying yourself at the current employee NI threshold you will want to consider paying your basic salary at the new threshold of £12,570 per year.
You’ll be better off paying yourself at the new threshold if your company is both:
1.) Eligible for employment allowance
2.) Incurs less than £4,475 in Employers NI liability per year
Not sure you meet the criteria? Drop us a quick e-mail & we’ll let you know!
